Interested in learning more about volunteering or getting involved with Safe Families?

Our friends are Safe Families is having a One-Stop Info Session and Volunteer Training Event at Oaks Church on Saturday, June 21 from 10am-2pm! 

There will be an info session for those who want to learn about volunteering with Safe Families, and an in-person training to streamline the volunteer application process. Below is some language to share with interested folks.

• Our friends at Safe Families for Children invite you to their upcoming One Stop Shop Info Session and Training Event, to learn more about supporting families in your community who are isolated and at risk of having their family separated, and their children placed in foster care. 

• You’ll have the chance to hear about how Safe Families is supporting isolated families, and learn more about getting involved. If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, we invite you to stay after the info session to become a trained volunteer. 

• If you are passionate about making a difference and caring for families in New York City, we invite you to sign up for an info session happening on June 21st.
